Donations and bequests

The effects of osteoporosis can be devastating - broken bones, chronic pain and long term disability; but so much can be done to prevent it and reduce its effects.

You can help us help thousands of New Zealanders by contributing to the Osteoporosis New Zealand Endowment Trust.

Your donations will be used to develop new information pamphlets, educational resources and help fund research.

With your help we can make a difference in preventing fractures due to osteoporosis and build a stronger future for all New Zealanders.

Bequests - A Gift in your Will

Making a gift in your will to Osteoporosis New Zealand is a way of making a difference to the health of many thousands of New Zealanders in the future. It will prevent pain and suffering from broken bones and enable us to ensure valuable research into osteoporosis continues.

Your gift can be directed to a project, research work or for the general work of Osteoporosis New Zealand and we would be happy to help you decide how your bequest could best meet your wishes.

We recommend you seek professional advice when drawing up your will and suggest the following wording:

I give to Osteoporosis New Zealand for the general (or specific) purposes of Osteoporosis New Zealand the residue of my estate (or the sum of $..........) and I declare that the receipt of a proper officer of Osteoporosis New Zealand shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustees.

We will ensure your money is used as you have asked in benefiting people affected by osteoporosis.
